My new painting is called “Night swimmers” and it is quite a large one too, measuring 100 x 130 centimetres.
The inspiration for this painting came from a real life event last summer when I saw 4 young men having a bath in the middle of the night in a lake. I felt like I woke up into a dream. And also, why would they swim in the middle of the night? Maybe because they like exploring uncharted territories, like the night. When everyone sleeps and the world is just theirs. And also, why not?
